What is EnineSites?
EnineSites is a managed website service for businesses. You bring what you know about your business, and EnineSites handles the rest: design, hosting, upkeep, and the structured data and machine-readable content that help search engines and AI assistants like ChatGPT and Perplexity understand your site. It just works, and when something needs a person, a person replies.
Who is EnineSites built for?
EnineSites is built for three kinds of people. Business owners who want a site that brings in leads and gets found, without managing it. Designers who want full CSS control without touching HTML. And developers or agencies who want API and MCP access to build fast. Whichever you are, there are no plugins to manage and no server to run.
How does EnineSites build a website?
You provide the content, through the CMS, a formatted JSON file, an AI assistant, or on the Pro tier by sending us your existing URL. EnineSites lays out each section, applies your theme, publishes it with the SEO markup and structured data already in place, and hosts and maintains it from there.
How long does it take?
Most people get a live site once the content is ready, since writing the content is the part that takes time and the building is handled for you. Starting from a template is fastest. Bringing over an existing site depends on the path: a formatted JSON import is quick, while an AI assistant or our team building it from your URL takes longer, since content and structure are being put together for you. After launch, every edit goes live the moment you save it, with no publishing step to wait on. A fully custom theme is the one exception, since design work takes longer.
Do I need to code?
No. You add your content in the CMS in plain language, the same way you'd write an email about your business. Everything technical, the layout, hosting, and search structure, is handled for you. If you do code, the API, MCP support, and full CSS control are there whenever you want them.
How is this different from WordPress?
WordPress is a plugin-based system you install, configure, and maintain. EnineSites is managed: you add your content, the site renders from it, and there are no plugins, no updates to manage, and no conflicts to diagnose. The honest trade-off: EnineSites is more opinionated and less endlessly customizable than WordPress. For most businesses, that is the point.
Can I move my existing site?
Yes. If you have an EnineSites-format JSON export, upload it and your content comes across directly. Otherwise, you can hand your content to an AI assistant to build the site on the Pro plan, enter it yourself in the CMS, or, on the Pro tier, send us your existing URL and our team will rebuild it on EnineSites for you.
What happens if I cancel?
If you leave, you take everything with you. Export your site as a single file, every word, every image, every setting, then delete it from the dashboard. Set the export up elsewhere, keep it for reference, or bin it. We do not hold your site hostage, because we do not actually own it.
Does EnineSites handle SEO and AEO automatically?
Yes. Every EnineSites site publishes with clean semantic HTML, structured data, a sitemap, canonical tags, and meta tags, all generated automatically from your content. For AI answer engines, every site also emits machine-readable content that assistants like ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude, and Gemini can read and quote.
Will AI assistants cite my website?
AI assistants quote sites that are clear and well-structured, and EnineSites sites are built to meet what assistants look for when they pick a source: named entities, clear answers, structured data, and fast, clean pages. Nobody can honestly guarantee a citation. What we can promise is that structure will never be the reason you are passed over.
Do I get a domain?
From the Starter plan up, you can bring your own domain, and we connect it for you. Do not have one yet? Contact us and we will help you buy the right one and set it up. On the Free plan, your site runs on a free e9sites subdomain.
Can I talk to a human?
Yes. You don't need a sales call to buy EnineSites, and if something goes wrong, a person handles it. Every plan includes real human support from someone who has actually used the product. You email us, and a person replies.
Does EnineSites support custom domains?
Yes, on the Starter and Pro plans. Your site can go live on your own domain, whether that is a .com, .co, .in, or any other TLD you already own. Tell us the domain and we connect it for you. On the Free plan, your site runs on a free e9sites subdomain.
How is AEO different from SEO?
SEO gets you ranked in a list of links. AEO gets you quoted inside the answer itself. Search engines rank pages, so SEO optimizes for position. Answer engines like ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Google's AI answers write one answer and cite their sources, so AEO optimizes for being quotable: clear claims, named entities, structured data, and pages a machine can read without guessing. The two work together as layers. SEO makes you findable. AEO makes you quotable.
Will EnineSites work for my industry?
EnineSites works for any business that can describe what it does, who it serves, and what proves it: trades, clinics, consultancies, agencies, software companies, publishers. The model is industry-agnostic, and the templates cover the common patterns. If none of them fit, start from a blank site and the model still holds. What it is not built for: online stores with thousands of products, or apps that need custom code.
Can I edit my site after it's published?
Yes, any time. The editor is a simple form over your content, and every change goes live the moment you save it, with no publishing step to wait on. Prefer to work in a file? Edit the underlying file directly and EnineSites renders it.
Do I need separate hosting?
No. Hosting is a managed part of every EnineSites site. Your site runs on EnineSites' infrastructure, on a free e9sites subdomain or your own custom domain. There is no server to rent, no AWS account or hosting bill to manage, and no deployment step to learn.
